Activa Electric can now be booked at select Honda dealerships in Bengaluru, Delhi and Mumbai. While QC1 can be booked in Delhi, Mumbai, Pune, Bengaluru, Hyderabad and Chandigarh. Customers can book by paying a token amount of Rs 1,000. Delivery of both the models will start in February 2025. Their prices can be told at India Mobility Global Expo 2025.
Details of Honda Activa E Scooter
Honda has launched its Activa E electric scooter. It has a 1.5kWh swappable dual battery setup. On full charge, both these batteries claim to give a range of 102Km. These batteries power a 6kW fixed magnet synchronous electric motor, which generates a peak torque of 22Nm. It includes three riding modes Econ, Standard and Sport. Its top speed is 80Km/h. At the same time, it can catch the speed of 0 to 60 Km/h in 7.3 seconds. It has a 7-inch TFT screen. The screen supports navigation.
Details of Honda QC1 scooter
The company has also launched the QC1 electric scooter. It will give a range of 80 km on a single charge. This electric scooter is offered with a fixed 1.5 kWh battery pack. It has a 7.0-inch TFT screen that gives real-time connectivity with the Honda Road Sync Duo app. This electric scooter comes with a fixed 1.5 kWh battery pack. Its power output is 1.2 kW (1.6 bhp) and 1.8 kW (2.4 bhp). The electric scooter takes 3 hours to charge from 0 to 75%. At the same time, full charge takes 6 hours.

Target of 1 lakh unit sales in 1 year
The company is targeting a large section of customers with both these electric scooters. HMSI will produce around 1 lakh electric scooters in the first year (365 days). This includes both Activa E and QC1. Honda has 3 plants located in Alwar (Rajasthan), Manesar (Haryana) and Vitthalpur (Gujarat). However, EVs will be produced only at the Narasapura (Karnataka) plant. Popular EVs like Ola, Bajaj Chetak and Ather are offered only with non-removable batteries. However, recently Ola has introduced a new model with a removable battery pack. It will compete with Ola, TVS, Bajaj and Ather.
