The Mega Millions lottery jackpot for Tuesday’s drawing has reached an estimated $760 million, offering a cash option of $352.1 million. This makes it one of the largest jackpots in U.S. lottery history.

If someone claims this jackpot, it will be the 15th largest prize in U.S. lottery history and the 8th biggest prize in Mega Millions history.

No winner has claimed the Mega Millions jackpot since a ticket worth $800 million was sold in Sugar Land, Texas, on September 10. This year, the jackpot has been won only three times, which is rare given the frequency of drawings.
In last Friday’s drawing for a $695 million jackpot, no one won the grand prize. However, several players won significant second-tier prizes.
- Four second-prize tickets matched all five numbers but missed the Mega Ball.
- A ticket sold in Vermont is valued at $3 million because the player opted for the Megaplier, paying an additional $1.
- Tickets sold in Massachusetts and Valley Stream, New York, are each worth $1 million.
- A ticket sold in California is worth $359,992. Unlike other states, California prizes vary based on ticket sales and the number of winners.
Last Friday’s winning numbers were: 36, 43, 52, 58, 65, and the Mega Ball was 16. The Megaplier for that drawing was 3x.

In New Jersey, three third-prize tickets worth $10,000 each were sold. These tickets matched four numbers plus the Mega Ball.

For third-tier prizes (matching four numbers plus the Mega Ball), the odds are 931,001 to 1, with a minimum prize of $10,000.
