Here’s everything you need to know about Ariana Grande’s alleged boyfriend, Ethan Slater.
The entertainment world was rocked on Thursday (July 20) when reports emerged that Ariana Grande is dating her Wicked costar Ethan Slater, 31, following her recent split from husband Dalton Gomez.
TMZ and People both report that he and Grande started dating after their relationship ended. Slater was previously married to singer Lily J and the couple celebrated their four-year wedding anniversary in November 2022.

Grande plays Glinda opposite Cynthia Erivo’s Elphaba in the upcoming live-action film adaptation of John M. Chu’s Broadway show Wicked, which will be split into two parts. The film was earlier scheduled to hit the theaters next year on Christmas Day (December 25, 2024). But in the spirit of thanksgiving, Rogue One Part 1 is now set to release next Thanksgiving (November 27, 2024).
In the film, Slater plays Bok, a boy who has a crush on Glinda.
Earlier in the week, TMZ reported that Grande and Gomez had split after two years of marriage. Prior to their reported split, they attempted to reconcile without success. TMZ, People and Entertainment Tonight also report that Grande and Gomez have remained friends, and speak on the phone regularly.

For his portrayal of Sponge Bob, Slater was nominated for Best Actor in a Musical at the 2018 Tony Awards. Although he did not win, the role earned him several other awards, including a Drama Desk Award, an Outer Critics Circle Award, a Theater World Award, and two Broadway.com Audience Awards.

He has a one-year-old son with his former high school girlfriend, Lilly J.
