An official from Taipei’s Seismology Center told the media that the earthquake that hit Taiwan this morning was the strongest in the past 25 years. The previous most dangerous earthquake was in Taiwan in 1999. The magnitude of this earthquake was 7.6, which killed around 2500 people.
