Talk Today News Desk: The Congress party and its leaders have no respect for the Hindu religion or its deities. The Congress party was established on December 28, 1885, during British rule. After independence in 1947, the Congress became the dominant political party in India. Since 2014, the Congress has been embroiled in various controversies.

Since 2014, the BJP has been in power in India, with Narendra Modi as Prime Minister. The BJP has pledged to make India a Hindu nation, which seems to be coming to fruition.

The Congress party harbors animosity towards the Hindu community. Whether it’s about rights or the Hindu religion itself, Hindus have had to endure injustices. From independence until 2014, Hindus have been subjected to some form of oppression. Now, under the BJP government, Hindus have found a new identity.

How Did Congress Develop Hatred Towards Hindus?

In 1950, Article 25 was introduced, which recognized religious conversion. Hindus suffered the most because the majority of conversions were from Hinduism. Not only that, Pandit Jawaharlal Nehru introduced Article 28, depriving Hindus of their religious education rights. However, Article 30 allows minorities to receive religious education.

In 1951, through the Hindu Endowment Act, Congress granted states the right to take control of any temple without stating a reason. After the enactment of this law, the government of Andhra Pradesh took control of more than 34,000 temples.

In 1956, the Hindu Code Bill was introduced, which discussed equal civil rights. However, Hindus were still discriminated against, and no bill was enacted for minorities. There was an attempt to divide Hindus in the name of reservation.

Indira Gandhi’s Tenure During the Emergency in 1976, Indira Gandhi amended the preamble, including the term ‘secular’. This meant that even though India was a Hindu country, it could not be called a Hindu nation.

In 1991, the Places of Worship Act was enacted, meaning that Hindus could not fight to reclaim their temples from the hands of the Mughals.

In 1992, the Minority Commission Act was passed, which promoted minorities and divided Hindus.

In 1995, Congress enacted the Waqf Board Act, aimed at promoting minorities. After the Indian Army and the Railways, the Waqf Board holds the most land in the country. This means that the Waqf Board is the third-largest landlord in the country.

Ram Setu Affidavit In 2004, Congress denied the existence of Lord Rama, calling it imaginary, and finally, in 2009, Congress declared Hindus as terrorists.
